Re: [T3] Turn Signal Emergency Flasher Layout

<x-flowed>I can tell where the wire comes off of the fuse slot,
but the other end of the wire is disconnected from
the flasher relay.

There are no numbers on the flasher and there are
three unconnected spade terminals on the flasher.

Which one is number 15?
What numbers are the other ones?

I'm hoping someone has a flasher out of the car to
look at and provide a layout or photo of the flasher
terminals to identify which spade correlates with
which number.

I can sort through the wiring to figure out what else
should be connected, but even when I determine
which wires should go there, I have three empty spades
to choose from on the flasher relay.

Thanks!

This is a '67 Type III, yes?

The manual is correct, connector 15 on the flasher relay is connected to the fourth fuse slot (fuse protected side, fourth from the right) -- this connection at the fuse box also runs to the "30" connection at the windshield wiper switch -- this circuit is energized with the key in the "ON" position, only.

Subject: [T3] Turn Signal Emergency Flasher Layout

I've been chasing various electrical pathways
and found an unconnected wire. It goes to the
Turn Signal Emergency Flasher connector 15
according to Bentley based on where it comes from
on the fuse box.

There is a piece of paper in the area of the many
male connector ends on the flasher, but I have
three that are unpopulated so don't know which
is the right one.

The paper is worn and there is no writing left
on it, and I don't see any embossed writing on
the flasher unit. I can't see how to remove the
unit itself other than to remove the bracket it
is attached to.

Does anyone have a photo or layout of a the
flasher connections so I can tell where to plug
in the loose wire? and to see what doesn't have
any wiring, but might need it?

Thanks!
