I just looked it up in my mid-seventies US-market accessory catalog. Those door edge guards were sold for all aircooled and watercooled models then. The one picture in the catalog shows a 411 4-door with them, but no comparison between the different kinds of edge guards. If you can find the accessory number (starting with "ZVW"), that would be a good indicator. The kit for Type 3s was ZVW 165 103, whereas the 411/412 kits were ZVW 165 104 (4-door) and ZVW 165 105 (2- door and wagon). jens On 8 Jun 2006, at 03:38, Keith Park wrote: > I wasn't aware that this kind of trim was ever a VW accessory. > > Hmmmmm... > > Keith > > Top Notch Restorations > topnotch@nycap.rr.com > 71 Squareback > 65 Notchback "El Baja Rojo" > 65 Squareback "Eggcrate" > 87 golf "Winterat" > 93 RX7 "Redstur" > > -----Original Message----- > From: Jason Weigel [mailto:notchboy@satx.rr.com] > Sent: Wednesday, June 07, 2006 8:56 AM > To: type3@vwtype3.org > Subject: [T3] Acc door trim? > > http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1530056#1530056 > > I just bought some ill fitting trim for my notch.
