Check the engine oil and the brake fluid level. Stop after the first
10 miles and check the temp of the brake drums/rotors all around. At
the same time, look under the car, with the engine running, for gas
leaks and recheck the oil and brake fluid levels.

Don't use the brakes any more than absolutely necessary to get home,
driving as if the brakes only had 10 stops in them before they
completely fail. Drive conservatively, leaving lots of space between
you and the car in front of you.

Air the tires to 18 F/ 26R.

Drive in daylight. Listen to the car, not the radio.

Make sure the 2 idiot lights actually come on when you first turn the
key ON and then go out when the engine starts.
