Check the samba.com for a swamp cooler

I've never used a one before, but they are supposed to work great in dry
climates-which I imagine Phoenix is. Unfortunately I live in a hot and humid
climate, as well as cold and humid in the winter...

I believe there are also air conditioning parts for T3's but I believe they
steal a lot of power from the motor or something...general list stuff I've
read has not been positive.

I know this has been gone over before. But, am torn here. I don't want 
to part with my 1973 VW Fastback. I need AC. I live in Phoenix. Its 114 
out there. I need air. What options have I here short of selling my 
baby? It's got a new 1776 engine & new automatic, baby Delorto's, new 
dash, new steering wheel and more. If I don't put in AC, I have to sell. 
I'm seeking advice. I can't afford 2 cars. My 73 is a daily driver. 
Help? Ideas? Offers?
