RE: [T3] Installing turn signal switch (arm)?

I saw the piece you mentioned.  It's a grey collar, somewhat C-shaped, that
goes around the input/output of the windshield washer valve.  It took some
prying with a small screwdriver -- in the process got kinda marked up -- but
I got it removed.  Then guess what?  The whole switch assembly slipped right
out like a greased pig!  And guess what else?  That SOB ain't going back in
when I install the replacement switch!!!

I'll take pictures of the item and post to my web site albums later.  Thanks
