Perhaps I should have clarified FLAPS in this case.
It should be FLVWFAPS with a VW Friendly added in there.

The owner used to be big in racing VWs and even raced a T3 at one time.
The kind of shop where a cut-away VW engine is on display in the lobby.

He still works on VWs, and I trust him as a mechanic, but he is at a point
where he can turn away work, so he won't work on junk. He got tired
of spending way too much time just straightening out other peoples messes.

The kind of place where if they ever did have a part. it's still there, 
but buried
away, and what was amazing was that they actually found it.
