Hey guys, been outta the country for a while... I laughed at you northern guys with squirrel and other critter problems until I came home and found mouse droppings smack in the middle of the drivers seat...in my garage...I guess I need a cat! And on the thread about the lights, 48 on the 200 scale means 48 ohms. The closer to zero ohms, the better the connection. While there is always some resistance in wiring (or anything else for that matter) 48 ohms is not a lot but might be enough to make the lights dim. (6 volt especially!) make sure there is not a bunch of rust around the screw holes which are most likely the grounding point in the older vehicles. Hopefully the weather will be nice in Houston this weekend so I can install my new engine! Stephen J. Jackson Commissioning Engineer, Petron Industries, Inc.
