It's best when faced with this problem to just jack up the front end, take both wheels off, loosen up all those bolts, and drive the torsion bar out the left side of the car. Once it's out, you can inspect the dimple, fix it (drill it deeper, or drill another one on the other side) if necessary, and then reinstall and adjust. It sounds difficult, but it's really not too bad a job. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
