I don't have a schematic, but I've fixed a few of them by doing rather obvious things. If they get water dripped on them, then some of the internal riveted connections inside can go bad; they can be cleaned and soldered quickly. There are also some timing capacitors in them which can go bad with age. Those can be replaced. I've certainly spent a lot of time on some of them, but in the end the problems were usually simple. You also didn't say WHICH of these boxes you're talking about, because there are at least 4 different versions (late 6V, early 12V, middle 12V, late 12V.) The early 6V flasher relays were silver cannisters, and were completely different. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
