What you'll need to do is remove the pedal cluster, and release the cable from the clutch arm (at the trans), then fish the cable out so you can re-hook the end back on. Use a zip tie, bread tie, or something like that to hold it on and in place, and reinstall the pedal cluster. Then attach the cable end back on the clutch arm (at the trans) and adjust. You might want to do this after you get your new floors in. I hope this helps.
