RE: [T3] Is this a myth? Backwards side vents?


I would LOVE to have worked at this dealer!  Boy... can you imagine your
local VW dealer going over to the airport saying "Yo, we need a plane for a
couple hours"

The good 'ol days are gone!

We did this at the dealer back in the late 60's early 70's. Then used an
airplane to generate the air flow over a Squareback. The customer had
seized pistons twice. Come to find out, he had a home made bug shield he
used on the highway. A sheet of lexan that covered the whole front of
the car. It was like pushing sheet of plywood thru the wind.
