According to the Without Guesswork book for '71-'72:
Max cruise = 84mph @ 4220rpm
Road speed = 79mph @ 4000rpm in 4th gear
Road speed = 56mph @ 4000rpm in 3rd
34mph @ 4000rpm in 2nd
18mph @ 4000rpm in 1st
