I recently put our FB on a dyno to see how tired the engine was before the rebuild. Dyno guy guessed the RPM at 60 (he didn't ask me - I had a dwell meter with RPM in the toolbox!) as 2500 and gave me a corresponding peak power of 43 BHP (3311RMP,80 MPH). So, to work it out properly, I need to know the true RPM at 60 MPH. 73 European spec FI fastback on stock tyres. I found some figures, and measured the wheels: Wheel: 33cm radius. Top gear: 0.89 Final drive: 4.12 ... -> 2844 RPM at 60 MPH. Is this right? That would give me a peak power of 49 BHP, which could be right. -- Matt. UK.
