You can uncrimp the rolled flange and take it apart that way. Later in
that thread someone else trys that. We do it all the time at work to
salvage the guts out of defective fuel pressure regulators.
Use something like external snap ring pliers, like you would use to take
the snap ring off the end of the crank.
