Someone who knows '67s better than I do needs to answer this question. I
thought all the chrome stem inside mirrors were screw mounted.

I have a pop-in chrome mirror. We (the t3 list) identified last year sometime that '67 was the only year with a pop-in chrome mirror. I bought one and it installed fine in my '71.

Really? Sophy, my '66 Square, has a pop in style mirror and it was chrome when I got her from Jim Adney. It isn't right now since I broke the shaft on her original mirror trying to get it out of the car.

For Mike - The mirror has spring clip that snaps in. The two studs just keep it positioned and prevent rotation when you adjust it. Just grab onto the mirror as close to the roof as possible and give it a good yank straight back and slightly down. It should just pop out.
