I'll echo Jim's comment. About 15k miles ago my CV joints started to 'click-clack' a bit, especially when going up steep hills. I got under and played with the axel shafts, moving them back and forth axially. After a couple of times doing this over the course of maybe 50 miles my CV joints have been quiet ever since. Next time they act up I guess it will be time to repack the joints with new grease.
