Re: [T3] Squareback rear side window rubbers needed

Correct, I replaced all my window rubber (except windshield) with the Cal-look
stuff. Did it back when I was in the Navy so that puts installation about 1988
or 1989 because it was after my 21st birthday, judging from the pictures in my
photo albums. I wasn't crazy about the exterior chrome so the Cal-look rubber
was perfect for me. I remember Dad and I doing the install together.

The rubber is still quite pliable. No leaks on the side glass. Front
windshield was replaced years later in the mid-90's and that eventually required
auto glass sealer (previous discussion). My baby was a daily driver up to the
very late '90's, where upon she then became garaged. So she got all the weather
for roughly 10 years. But she gets driven in the summer time and sits out in
the sun at car shows so it's not all roses for the rubber.
