The trim is aluminum. It's VERY soft, so you have to take great care not to 
bend it when the seal is out.

They might be gone, or you might just not have the windshield out yet. You 
can't see them until the window and seal are completely removed. They consist 
of 4 metal strips which clip along each side of the window opening.

"Cal Look" just means no groove for the aluminum trim, hence no trim.
