The detective work begins.... Find someone who can sell you an original black Bosch coil. I suspect that the old blue ones, made in Germany, were good, but the more recent ones made in this hemisphere seem to be very unreliable. Unless you're actually drag racing and taking your engine WAY over the normal red line, there's absolutely NO advantage to the blue coils. I have several OG black and blue coils here. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
