Re: [T3] When electronic points die they can still kinda work.


I am running the Pertronix Flame Thrower coil.  It's above 1.5ohms as I
measured it before installing the electronic points since the instruction
say not to use it on a coil w/less resistance.  The wires are flexible and
no abrasions, plus I always make sure there isn't tension on any wiring I
do so I know that if there was a wire failure then it wasn't due to
stretch.

I still have the complete unit.  I can take a better look at it this
evening.  Any simple tests I can perform using my ohm meter?
