I just bought my 71 SB about two months ago. The body, paint and interior were all in good, not fantastic shape. It looks like I'm going to have to have a new valve job done on the car, but otherwise it was in fairly good shape. The owner was asking $3200 for the car, and I bargained her down to $2650. Depending on where you live you might be able to get more, but $2000 seems fair..... Good Luck! > -------Original Message------- > From: phil cain <bearsvw2000@yahoo.com> > Subject: [T3] Selling my 71 Squareback > Sent: Aug 11 '06 21:45 > > I need a little help figuring out what to ask for my > baby.
