If that is indicative of a problem, please advise. I find my squarebacks to be rather sensitive to cross winds, too, so what you are noticing might just be normal for the car, although I'd expect the fastback to be better. It's POSSIBLE that your tire pressure is all wrong, since this is a common mistake people make with these cars. Don't put more than 20 psi in your front tires. For a lightly loaded fastback, 26-28 psi would be about right for the rears. So, for a lightly loaded type 3: ~20 in the fronts. 26-28 in the rear of a fasty, ~30 for the rear of a square. Let us know if this helps. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
