[T3] Gas gauge question

I need some help.  i have problem with my 65 NB

the gas gauge didnt work becuase of sending units is 12 volts  and i think 
gas guage is 6 volts.

question i have to get  67 gas gague with 12 vts will work with 12 vts 
sending units ?
