Your mileage is about normal for a stock configuration.

Make sure that your wheels are aligned properly, both front and rear, 
and don't rely on a shop to know how automatically.

Aerodynamic drag makes it inevitable that your Square will perform less 
well above 55mph, so moderation is your friend.

I get a reliable 30mpg because my transaxle is modified with longer 
gears. This isn't a cheap way to gain mileage, but it has other 
advantages as well.
