Are you referring to the valley of the outer tank skin that goes left and right of the 2 bottom ports? or something else? You can "see" the indention for the cup externally from the bottom of the tank. There is a circle with a valley that goes to the left and to the right... however, looking at the cup from the inside, I can make out the valley in the cup on the left side of the supply port, but the cup is flat on the right (return) side of the cup. that might answer the question right there. The additional prep round this afternoon did clear out more of the clog. I can pour water in through the filler neck and watch it flow into the cup via the gap around the return port (the flat side of the cup). I couldn't see any coming up through the gap around the supply port. and I'm not sure how I could get under the cup to clean other than with chemical solution. So, I'm actually hoping now that there isn't a second path. ;) Thanks for the help!
