Hi Nick, Check the worn stuff and wheel bolts as Jim suggested, but I get it periodically, and with mine it's the CV balls popping in and out of the wear dimples. You may find moving the drive-shafts inwards and outwards to get a bit of grease into the dry areas of the CV joint will help. In a bad case, you'll have to change the CV joint. Probably it's an outer one - mine sounds like those awful balls on string that were popular with kids in the '80s, called click-clacks over here. We did 2000 miles round Germany last year, not a sound. Got home, removed all the camping gear, and first journey, off it goes again - click-clack... - just round sharp bends. Stopped again after a few weeks though. Dave.
