Yup, IRS is already there (a 71). Yes, the "mid" mount is like that used on a 
bug or swing axle type3. These are the forks that I'm talking about, they 
support the trans. I've seen the conversion go both ways (add irs pivots to a 
swing axle subframe, and hope the pivot arms are aligned, or add the forks to an 
irs subframe), and adding the forks is the easiest, and you don't change the 
irs pivot settings (rear end alignment). My plan was to do the fork conversion 
with the t-3 motor in place, to keep it aligned, then swap in the t-4 motor. I 
don't know if I'll get to it this year or not, as it's beginning to get 
busier here, and at work. :O

I've already got what you listed, including the wiring harness and injectors, 
I just need a fuel pressure regulator and a fuel pump, and some time to wire 
up the components. A friend of mine was supposed to drop off the pump, but I 
haven't seen him in a couple of weeks (he works nights). And the guy I got most 
of my FI stuff from was supposed to send the regulator, but I haven't heard 
from him either. :O
