The biggest difference between a new universal case and a t-3 case is the oil
cooler stud, and the oil pressure plug. The cooler stud on a t-3 is 6mm,
while the universal case uses an 8mm stud. There are step studs available to do
this, and the DDB has them in stock. The oil pressure plug just needs that, an
1/8 inch pipe plug. By the way, some of the universal cases are set up for 8mm
head studs. This is actually a good thing, and a worthwhile investment.
You'll probably need to buy a set of studs though. I hope this helps.
