Well, I don't know when the free play went away, as it was more of a gradual
type of thing. I got to checking my log book, and found that I hadn't done
anything with the clutch system since the combo was put together back in 95, and
then I had used some low mileage used parts. :O I'm thinking I might have a
TB going dry though, and I'll probably tear into it over the long weekend (I've
got a couple of other projects ahead of it). I'm pretty sure I've got the
parts I need here to fix it, just gotta find the time. Thanks for the advice, as
I had been wondering IF a pilot bearing could fail ( I hadn't heard of one
doing so), and what it would do.
