reversed already. I know I do on all the engines I build. Keeps the
sealer off your fingers while putting it in.

I've read this before, but it's not mentioned in any of the books. My camshaft plug was installed with the flat part facing out, driven like that for goodness knows how many years, and emerged unscathed. Should I reverse it when I put it back together? What's the reason for this?
