Do you really think the VW label will make it last any longer? I thought the VW 
mufflers were the same as those made by the same companies and marketed outside 
the VW network.

There certainly are a rather wide range of quality in non-VW, but OEM style, 
mufflers, but I always thought the best of those were the same as the VW 
branded ones.
