If it's working worse now that it was before you did your brake work, then you must have left something disconnected or left a part out when you were working on the brakes. Did you hook the rear ends of the cables to the actuating arms attached to the rear shoes? Did you install the bar that seems to bridge between the 2 shoes above the axle? You should also verify that the cables are seated correctly in the lever assy. In general, if you adjust the brakes and tighten them up, it will also tighten up the parking brake. Separate adjustment of the parking brake cable is usually only necessary when you replace a cable. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
