I really don't think so. I doubt that the pedal assembly moves very much see as it is all pretty beefy stuff and so is the tunnel that it attaches to. The switch and the bracket are really not under any appreciable load.

I will let everyone know how it holds up. One nice thing about the switch is that it has a nice little audible click when it engages. Not so loud that you will ever hear it while driving, but loud enough that you can hear it if you listen for it upon first hitting the brakes. Sort of like the FI relays that we have all been trained to listen for.
