The Cofap's will fit but be way too stiff, unless they supply you with something that wasnt in the book back then. Check the OE shocks, if not rusted too badly they are probably fine. Again, none of the rubber peices except the tie rod end boots and steering coupler have been repro'd and they were never made in urethane. Good used replacements are common though if yours are really bad, with exception of the ball joint boots. New ball joints *I believe* are now obsolete, but they are still out there and the boots on them are good for use on the used joints. > >Oh no you wont, except for the shocks all the parts > are >unavailable now, and the shocks you get at the > FLAPS will be >too stiff. at 66K, if its been lubed > the suspension should be >like new. Headers are avail repro new, they need a torch and mallet to make fit in most cases though. HEater boxes are out there, Mufflers are common ( I usually stock them). The northeast is good for T3 stuff in the flea markets, although not as good as it used to be :-) Keith > > > YEA...youll have no heat! and the heads and cylinders > run hotter > unless you > make some tin to fill the gap where the heaterbox was. > > I think there's a swap meet in PA next summer....I'll > have to head that way....seems to be the closest to > Detroit. > > Chris ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
