> Hey all.....I'm working on a total re-paint on my wife's '72 square this > winter. I've taken the car apart to start the sanding, but I cannot figure > out how to remove the little windshield fluid squirter nozzle that sticks > out of the cowl. It's got a springy bit of plastic on the left side (left is as seen from the driving seat) and a notch on the other. Push the nozzle to one side and tilt the other side up. You won't get a finger to the back of it unless you remove the airbox, certainly on the long-nose models. I wouldn't do it in cold weather - if you're in a cold part of the USA (or UK - we've a frost outside already and it's only 9pm), warm the area with a hair dryer for a while to soften the plastic and reduce the chance of it splitting.
