It's been awhile, but I've seen stocks of various sized domed plugs in the
occasional FLAPS. If you find a well stocked one, they come in sizes from about
1/4" to over 2"

FYI, 914 master cylinders have a couple of thin alum plugs capping off a brake
fluid drilling. I worked on one once that had corroded away and was leaking. I
was able to find a commercial cap for the large one (~ 1/2") and I made a small
copper one (~5mm.) both worked well and both are thicker than OE, so they
should last forever.
