Thanks, Jim...I hope to make progress in the engine swap this month since I gotta take some vacation time, will have another list...put me down for one of your good coils anyhow, possibly some heat exchangers as well...I wonder what the chances of the exhaust on the Beetle engine being from a T3 engine? They do seem to extend quite a bit past the rear of the engine where the fan case will be...I am taking them off tonight to get ready for the swap. I guess it's not that big a deal, it doesn't look like exhaust parts are hard to come by but I did like the sound of the Beetle engine the few times I cranked it up. I was puttering around in the garage last night putting on my new stainless wiper arms, but the driver side one has a bolt broken off in the piece the arm attaches to and the piece is also broken in such a way that I think I need another one.
