[T3] Turn signal indicators lights

Well, I am trying to build a harness from this old one. I am looking  
at a number of the wiring diagrams available on he Samba and I notice  
that the left turn and right turn indicator lights appear to be wired  
in parallel. And when I bench tested the guage that I have, lo and  
behold they both light up. So those of you driving your T3s, when you  
indicate that you will make a left or right turn, do both indicator  
lights on the dash light up?
