Don't use the shampoo full strength; dilute it 50/50 with water or it will dry out too quickly and get sticky, which may be your problem. It should not be necessary to push it in at all; the person on the outside should only have to push it hard enough that the rubber lip falls inside the body as you "unzip" the cord. Not sure I understand the flange question. You start with the glass/trim/rubber on the outside of the car, and pull the lip of the rubber just inside the pinch weld on the window frame. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
