I think I have a pretty good chance of finding a strainer here. There is a 
shop in Tel Aviv that sells nothing but parts for automatic transmissions. 
That's where I got the gasket set from. They actually have a Type 3 vacuum 
modulator in their window.

If they don't have it then it might be more of a problem.
