If you rebuilt them youself that would be great, but you only have a few months 
to do it. Once you take them off the car, the standard fluid rapidly soaks up 
moisture and becomes corrosive. They'll be ruined in a fairly short time.

No real danger. It's just that the benefit of the DoT-5 depends on the degree 
to which you manage to get rid of the D0T-3/4. It just doesn't make sense to 
put this much money and effort into the job and then slip up on the fluid 
installation.
