When Ron at Ron's Transaxles was delivering my rebuilt AT, he indicated that leaks originating from under this cover could potentially come from either the ATF or the gear oil. Leaks running down one side were from one source, and leaks running down the other side were from the other half of the transaxle. (Naturally, I can't remember which was which...!)
