It's my carbed car in this case. and it doesn't actually have chokes. [ that's on my list of things to show the list. it's got dual weber 44 idfs and doesn't seem to have room for the choke ] I measured the good generator and it comes out 3.9 ohms, I re-measured the bad one and got 0.6 ohms. so, it looks like the bad one is definitely shorted.
