Re: [T3] differneces between 69 and 72 doors

I don't think there's any significant difference. There was a side-impact bar
added to later ones, and I think the handle pressing is deeper to allow for the
extra trigger depth. The arm-rest changed at some point - my 72 is the same as
my 71, but maybe later 72s have the new armrests. I don't think there's
anything that can't be got round fairly easily.

Subject: [T3] differneces between 69 and 72 doors

I've read through the archive, but I'm a little confused about differences in
early and late doors. Can someone summarize the differences between a 72 and a
69 door?

I have a 69 fastback but the passenger door is very rusty and I was offered a
free 72 door as a replacement. I just wondered if I will have trouble making
the switch (in terms of hinges and fitting, etc.)

Thanks,
