Go with the electronic points in the stock distributor. A distributorless system is very nice, but pretty much overkill for a stock engine, and getting the EFI to work will be a hassle. You'll get 90% of the benefits of the DIS system by just dropping in the much cheaper points replacement. If you really wanted to do DIS, anyway, wander over to the Megasquirt forums and take a look at that system. You'd be replacing the D-Jet ECU with the Megasquirt ECU, which won't require the trigger points. You'd also unload the stock manifold pressure sensor in favor of a modern solid-state pressure sensor.
