It's almost certainly NOT a problem with the MC, and I'd be willing to bet that it's the right caliper that's working correctly, and that the problem is with the left one. Since both are new, I'm gonna guess that the calipers are okay, but the left flex hose is bad. Here's what you can do to test it: Open the bleed valves and watch how the fluid flows out. I'm betting that you get good flow on the right and little or no flow on the left. If that's the case, replace the left line and retest. If it's all better, put in a new set of pads and go on your way. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
