If it is, with the key turned on, and the engine not running, open the throttle slowly. You should hear a series of clicks. 20 to be exact from closed to full throttle. These are the injectors opening. If you don't hear 20 clicks, then the switch is bad or not adjusted properly. Try to adjust the switch to get those 20 clicks. -- Russ Wolfe '71 FB AT '66 FB MT '64 T34 (not running) '65 T1 (not running) '05 KIA Sorento SUV russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
