Pulled the tarps off the Eggcrate and went to start it. Yes, a 150 amp

No spark or gas though... 3 more years of sitting after it barely ran last
time imagine that! Cleaned the points and uncemented the outlet valve on
the fuel pump and I was closer, but I had to pop the carb tops and wedge
loose the floats and I finally got it going on one carb... just enough to
get it moved and backed into position to remove the engine and tranny for a
good cleaning and reconditioning.
Question I have is... Id like to remove the drive train and rear
suspension as one unit as everything needs attention, anybody done this and
any advice on how to balance or support it to move it out from under the
car? Im used to my IRS cars cars and dont want anything to "Swing" the
wrong way when unbolted :-)

Keith -

I did this to Sophy last winter. I removed the engine first.....much easier and you have better access to things like the heater connections and clutch cable and stuff. With the engine out separate, the subframe and trans are nose heavy, but not so much that you can pick it up and wheel it around on the wheels. I supported it about mid trans and it balanced pretty good. Just make sure you get everything disconnected. I forgot the shift linkage the first time I started lowering. Oops.
