Not the "breather kit", just the filler extension. It came with the car when
I got.

I would think so, as most of those filler pieces use the same threads. I know
about this is the case with stock parts, as my Notch is running a modified
bug breather (to add oil), since I'm using a converted t-1 engine in it.

Couldn't hurt, as they might have what you need in stock. I've seen a screw
in cap with a fitting in the top that also feeds the breather box. Those were
made of aluminum though. It might really be a case of thinking outside the box
for parts to fix it (or re-engineering it).

Hard to say, and only the PO or the engine builder might know the real answer
to that. It might be a case of someone timing a bug part down to fit in a
t-3. That wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened. I hope
