The chokes on IDFs (any size) don't fit. IDFs sold for air-cooled applications have a blanking plate in place of the choke assembly. You have to futz with the throttle some when starting one of these, and hold it open until it warms up. The choke assembly is, as far as I know, only used on FIATs, which have them inline, so the choke linkage is pretty simple.
