Are you sure this is the FRONT of the BOTTOM beam? (Is the beam out of the 
car?)

If this is the back of the upper beam, then there are 2 threaded holes there, 
M8 x 1.25. One anchors the steering damper and the other is for the steering 
damper on RHD cars and should have a plastic plug in it. Any of this sound 
right?
